Oregon lawmaker says she’ll push for more cannabis regulations in 2027 to protect kids

Oregon Sen. Lisa Reynolds said she plans to pursue additional cannabis-related legislation during the 2027 legislative session, including proposals focused on youth prevention education, warning labels, and THC limits for edible products. During a public discussion with health professionals and community members, participants shared perspectives on youth cannabis use, public health trends, product labeling, and prevention efforts. Reynolds indicated she intends to revisit legislation that was considered during the 2026 session and continue discussions related to youth access prevention and cannabis policy in Oregon.
