In addition to covering what’s going on in the Oregon Legislature with cannabis and our policy priorities, this month’s Cannabis Insiders Meeting will focus on the rash of “Crash and Grab” robberies in Portland and how we, as a community, can respond.

We’re putting together a panel of licensees who’ve been robbed to lead a discussion about what’s happening, how they reacted, and what they learned about handling these situations. We’ll also talk about how the industry can share information, work with city leaders, and push for improved public safety overall.

If you’ve been affected by or care about robberies, theft, or violence, please join us Monday. CIAO membership is not required for this meeting.
(We’ll also be inviting city leaders to discuss solutions to the current robbery crisis.)
