Order Granting Leave to File a Reply and Order for Response to Motion to Reopen Hearing

A DEA administrative law judge granted a motion allowing certain parties opposing cannabis rescheduling to file a reply in connection with pending proceedings related to a recent Government Accountability Office (GAO) report.

The judge also ordered the DEA to submit a response by October 21, 2026, to a separate motion requesting that the hearing be reopened for limited discovery and testimony if the GAO report is admitted into the record. The judge has not yet ruled on the request to admit the GAO report into evidence, and the proceeding remains stayed while the pending motions are under consideration.
