Georgia Is Now on a Path to Allow Home Delivery of Medical Cannabis
Georgia regulators are proposing new rules that would allow home delivery of medical cannabis to registered patients. Under the proposal, licensed medical cannabis producers would be permitted to deliver products directly to patients using approved delivery services. The changes would also allow medical cannabis to be delivered to patients residing in long-term care facilities through authorized representatives. State officials say the proposal is intended to improve patient access, expand convenience, and enhance security for patients participating in Georgia’s medical cannabis program.
